How to Get the Best Bang for Your Buck with a New Floor and/or RugTweet
I have often been asked what is the best way to get the most and the best floor for the dollar; what is the best bang for the buck.
Well, first off, it is not the 99 cent laminate from warehouses who buy second grade floors from manufacturers who are uncomfortable selling the floor as apart of their regular lines.
You are best off looking for flooring where the retailer has purchased it in bulk so they can pass along savings equaling 50% or more on to you. No, I’m not talking about the so called ‘loss leaders’ where they use it to bring you in the door but talk you out of it because…
- they don’t make any money off it (maybe even loose money) and
- it isn’t good enough quality to even to take up your time in choosing a color!
If wool is a bit overkill because you are not planning on staying in your current home long, they also have carpet that is FHA approved for first time home buyers starting at only $1/sq.ft. cash and carry (only $2.80/sq.ft. completely installed)!
If carpet isn’t quite your thing, they also have hardwood with a bulk discount starting at $2.25/sq.ft cash and carry or $5.99/sq.ft. with basic installation. (Plus: stunning hand scraped hickory at only $4.80/sq.ft. cash and carry or $10.30/sq.ft. with basic installation!)
Mercers also has great values like these available on luxury vinyl tile, ceramic, flex floor vinyl, area rugs, runners, and laminate flooring!
|Insider Tip: |
Mercers is currently hosting a spring cleaning sale
because they need to make room in their warehouse!
So take advantage of these unbelievable values
before they disappear!
One thing to note when looking at values like these, because the retailer has limited space in their warehouse you are limited on colors (though they do their best to choose the most popular colors and styles available so they move fast). With the availability at Mercers, I am positive I can help you find the perfect value item for you.
If there are any questions or if you’re curious about some of the great values that Mercers has available, please contact me at the office (410-480-0087) or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). I would love to be able to help you turn your house into a home by achieving at least one more dream.
A home is not a mere transient shelter;
its essence lies in the personalities of the people who live in it.
